Privacy Policy
MiniRecipe does not provide AI features and does not use your recipes to train artificial intelligence models.
1. Scope
This policy explains how MiniRecipe handles information when you use the iOS app, automatic backup, and related support pages.
2. Information stored on your device
Recipe names, ingredients, instructions, photos, meal plans, shopping lists, pantry items, cooking records, preferences, and exported files are stored locally on your device. MiniRecipe accesses photos or the camera only after you choose to add an image. Notification access is used only for reminders you enable.
3. Account information
If you use Sign in with Apple, we receive the Apple account identifier made available to the app and, when Apple provides them, your name and email address. Apple may provide a private relay email address. We use this information to authenticate you and associate your backup with your account.
4. Automatic backup
Automatic backup is optional and disabled until you enable it. When enabled, the app uploads an encrypted transfer of your selected app data and media over HTTPS to a private Alibaba Cloud Object Storage Service bucket located in Japan (Tokyo). Object access is private, public access is blocked, and server-side AES-256 encryption is enabled. Backup metadata may include device identifiers generated by the app, timestamps, file sizes, integrity hashes, and app/database versions. MiniRecipe does not use iCloud for this feature.
5. Purchases
Apple processes App Store purchases and payment information. RevenueCat helps validate purchase status and may receive app user identifiers, product identifiers, transaction status, country or storefront information, and limited technical diagnostics. MiniRecipe does not receive your full payment-card details.
6. Purpose and legal basis
We process information to provide the features you request, keep your account and backup secure, restore your data, validate purchases, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, comply with law, and respond to support requests. Depending on your location, the legal basis may be performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent, or legal obligation.
7. Sharing
We share information only with service providers needed to operate MiniRecipe, including Apple, RevenueCat, Alibaba Cloud, and hosting or security providers. They process information under their own terms and applicable data-protection duties. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
8. Retention and deletion
Local data remains until you delete it or remove the app. Cloud backups remain while the feature is active or as needed to provide restore and account services. You can delete available cloud backups in the app. To request account deletion or deletion of remaining server records, contact support. Limited records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
9. International transfers
MiniRecipe is offered internationally. Your information may be processed outside your country of residence. Backup objects are stored in Japan; account, purchase, hosting, and support providers may process limited information in other locations with safeguards required by applicable law.
10. Security
We use encrypted network transport, private object storage, server-side encryption, signed short-lived object URLs, access controls, and integrity checks. No security method is perfect, so keep your device and Apple account secure.
11. Children
MiniRecipe is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age.
12. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
13. Changes and contact
We may update this policy and will change the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated where required. For privacy questions or requests, email support@ccrecipe.cn.
